All famous people are not movie stars ( & vice-versa ) ...

Anyone racing corvairs in scca ( or other venue which pits vairs against 
evil Miatas etc .   )  these days is certainly a hero to many of us ... 
maybe famous in our micro-circle ...

so:

Consider the entire Yenko crew, ( including certain famous ladies ...  )
Jon Brakke, a fun driver to watch, fought the righteous wars ...
oh, I feel the need to put in a plug for Jim Brandberg, currently racing ... 
I have observed many good drivers, back when I wuz clipboarding toy cars, 
and Jim B I rate * dang * good ....  he seems to get all out of his vair 
that it has in it ....
