I had to lash the valves this weekend and I had 1 lifter that would not
lash. I removed that 1 lifter and disassembled cleaned it up(did find trash
in it). Reassembled relashed the valves. Car ran great! Took the car out for
a spin came out of 1st gear and got a real bad tapping noise! what do you
guys think? Do you think the lifter collapsed agian? Have a slight miss
also.Dont' think its a rod? Can you put new lifters in with a old cam? Not
sure what to think. Steve Till
