<VV> Carb repair part?

I was asked today if I had a repair part for a Q-Jet. Seems that someone makes or made
a replacement fuel inlet seat for one that had stripped threads. I was described as having 
two o-rings designed such that it could simply be pressed into the damaged thread area and 
work. Has anyone seen such a thing and/or know where it can be purchased? I am interested 
if there might be one for a Corvair.
