Misguided?  What guides my thoughts is what is best for the Corvair 
hobby, I think that is true for you also.  What we disagree on is how to 
get there.

Why should I want to confuse the issue? Just trying to bring a little 
common sense and a little less emotional reaction to the discussion.

You seem to be saying that to join one local club you are using so much 
of CORSA's resources that you should be required to Join CORSA. But if 
you join a second club you are not using any of CORSA resources?  Why 
can't someone just join the second club?  If joining MCCA requires X 
amount of CORSA resources then joining MCCA and Stock Corvair Group 
should require 2X the CORSA resources. If it doesn't then why the 
insistance on 100% membership?
