<VV> "Mistaken" Corvairs

I think I may have the topper for mis-identifications.  :-)

 

Before I retired I would often drive the convertible to school in nice
weather.  Of course most college students were born after Corvairs left
the market.  My department had a number of car collectors so there would
always be some classic or unique car in the parking lot outside of our
building.

 

One day a student came up to me as I was getting out of the convertible
and asked "Is that a Ferrari?"

 

I was so stunned that I could only say "Not quite".   :-)
