A wonderful book by one of my favorite authors, Elizabeth Moon!

(Hard to read at first because of the intentional writing style, but well worth slogging through it.  She'll move your opinion on the fundamental question of the book from one pole to the opposite then leave you hanging in the middle when you're finished.  Masterful writing.)
