<VV> late power top gearbox lube

Lates have two big honking gearboxes that are driven by an electric motor
via drive cables similar to a speedo.  The gearboxes operate on the top
frame to raise and lower the top.

I am finally working in my 65 vert woth power top. I found a body service 
manual explaining how to remove and replace the gearboxes, but nothing about

the gear box itself. What should i use for lube.?
