Jim,

 

If you don't mind wasting a few ounces of brake fluid and making a small mess, you don't need any fittings to bench bleed the master cylinder.

 

1. Put the master cylinder in a vise.

2. Get a screwdriver or a long punch or something to press the piston into the cylinder.

3. Fill up the reservoirs.

4. Put some rags under the master cylinder to catch the brake fluid drippings

5. Press your fingertips, FIRMLY, against the output ports on the master cylinder.  Maintain constant pressure. Your fingers will act like check-valves.

6. SLOWLY press the piston into the cylinder and then release.

7. repeat steps 5 and 6 until you no longer FEEL or SEE air bubbles escaping from the ports.

 

A little messy, but very fast
