Re Spyder "replicas":

As one who in '75 built his own  '62 Spyder convert from a $15 (literally!) 
Las Vegas junkyard Monza, and drove it for over fifteen years, tell me 
sumthin' I don't know! :))) Finally had to shred its stripped body here in 
Texas (advanced cancer), but was fortunate to find a REAL '63 Spyder 
convert. Only had to trade a fully functional '93 DeVille for it.  Oh, did I 
forget to mention it (the Spyder) doesn't run  and has a Monza engine? 
Luckily I've had a zero time '66 Spyder engine w/140 heads waiting in the 
wings for ten years.......
