In or near Gravity Park, WI?  This may be of interest to you.  I've not done this "off road" event myself - but this is the same group which does ice races in the winter.   Good people.

I'd recommend something other than a Corvair (unless you've got a beater) if you wish to participate.

  Even though as of 10 P.M. tonight we are just 3 entries short of the 30 required to confirm the WAG Rallycross at Gravity Park, Chilton, Wi. scheduled for this Sun. Nov. 15, 2009, we will go ahead with the event as planned. Thanks to everyone who has already entered! However, in an effort to get over the 30 entry threshold and to encourage more potential entries, we will extend the $10 Pre-Reg. discount to any Pre-Registrations received by Sat. Nov. 14 at 7 P.M., so please get your Pre-Reg. in and encourage your friends to register too! Full event info and Pre-reg. is still up on the WAG website at:  www.w-a-g.org . 
  NEW FEATURE! IMPORTANT:  We will offer a new trial feature this Sunday: Pre-Paid Practice Runs from !0:00 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. 1 run for $3 or 2 runs for $5.  2 run max. per driver. Any paid driver with unused run[s] at 10:30 A.M. will get to make his run, but all others in line will be returned to the paddock. The Drivers Meeting will convene at 10:45 A.M. and Timed Runs will start immediately afterward. If this proves successful, we will offer it as a regular feature next year. 
  Reminder: All entered Drivers will be required to work at least one corner assignment when not driving. Assignments will be made during Registration. 
  Because it gets dark by 4:30 P.M. , we ask all entrants to please arrive on time so we can run on schedule and get at least 8 runs in before dark- we will do as many runs as possible before 4:00 P.M. so we can break down the course and get to the Killsnake Clubhouse before dark. Awards will be given out in the clubhouse shortly afterward.
