Yikes! I've bought REAL Corvairs for less than that and drove them home. Course it was only a dozen or so miles and it was a "FEW" years ago!!!<GGGG>

Here is another site that lists it for $229 :

Photos on this site are of the actual car (John Fitch driving it ?), not the
model.

What it says:
1966 Fitch-Phoenix (Corvair based)
John Fitch originally intended to produce a run of 500 vehicles but the
Traffic Safety Act of 1966 was passed into law which forced Fitch to put
production on hold. Plus the fact that GM was to shortly cease building
Corvairs so the Phoenix never went into production. The two fender humps
were designed to house two spare tires. Production of this model is expected
to be 150. Each of the 150 will be mounted in a display case with engraved
and serially numbered plaque and separate certificate autographed by John
Fitch. At this price they are expected to sell quickly so it is imperative
that you place your pre-order TODAY. Of course not a penny will be charged
to your card until the model is shipped probably after the first of the
year. Expected to be priced at $199 to $229
