Got any evidence of these horror stories? And how often has this happened?
Get a couple of classics destroyed, and you KNOW all the car guys in that state will be on a massive letter writing campaign, picketing DMV, sitting on the steps of the courts and the legislatures, etc.

I don't think the track records will back you up. I've heard too many horror stories of cars destroyed before the owner even knew, let alone was able to?file any?legal motions.

Oh, I think it does! Just like in California, the public outcry will be deafening. I doubt even one car will make it to the crusher before this is repealed, should this law even make the light of day.
