Which is exactly what Hemmings Classic Car stated in their multi-page
article a while back on defining the term "club coupe". The early model
Corvair 2door was identified as a perfect example of a club coupe.

For those who don't know, Chevrolet sales literature referred to  the first 
generation Corvair two-door as a "club coupe."
