We had an awesome turnout for our 50th celebration at The Walter 
Mitty. The Corvair Racers were out in full force today and we had 7 
Corvairs on the track. Some minor problems have been encountered but 
all ran and represented us well. Spence Shepard had engine problems 
but the third engine did make 4 laps today in the Group 2 Trophy 
race. I will leave the complete Racer report to one or more of the 
Racers. I am sure that TLH (Rick Norris) or Warren Leveque will 
provide you details.
      The Corvair car corral had 16 participants and we were placed 
opposite the Jaguars. Guess who got more attention ;-)
The Saturday parade laps and touring laps were great as we had 
Corvairs out on the track for both events.
The weather cooperated during all of our Corvair Races even though 
there were several heavy rain events during the four days of The 
Walter Mitty including storms overnight on Friday night and Saturday 
night. Sunday at the track was overcast but it never rained as our 
Corvair racers competed.
