<VV> idler pulley stress and strain

If Clark's had their idler pulley unit made in China, I wouldn't use it. The Chinese don't T-6 temper their aluminum products. We had terrible oxidation problems with Chinese aluminum  products for farm equipment in Canada that the Socialist Government forces you to buy. Petro products in contact would oxidized the metal very quickly. There were a half dozen incidents of Chinese made scuba tanks collapsing with very little use. I hope Clark's is vigilant on quality control for our Corvair friends.
