Quick check is to pull all the fuses and see if you still get a current draw. If it stops....start to replace fuses. If it does not stop, ya gotta start looking at the un fused circuits. Check dome lights, glove box lights, hood or trunk lights.

Subject: <VV> Electrical Question
The car is a 66 180.
Everything was running fine but over the last few days the car was parked
and the battery went flat.
I charged the battery with the terminals disconnected.
I reconnected the terminals, first the positive and as soon as I touched the
negative terminal to the post - sparks flew!
Not quite a dead short but indications of a significant draw somewhere. I
checked and nothing is turned on
Has anybody seen this before? I haven't checked for the dreaded "heater hose
short" yet but that will be next on my list.
Thanks,
Bob
