It has been almost twenty years since I had to drive to Pennsylvania  
(Pottstown I think) to have several pieces of suspension pieces dipped in their  
alkali tank (at least I remember that it was an alkali dip and not acid).   Does 
anyone have any recent experience with a Reddystip or similar process in  the 
Mid-Atlantic region?  Are they still around?  The metal pieces  came out clean 
and the rubber was intact (though if it was already oil soaked  it was spongy 
of course).
