I picked up a battery minder from Northern Tool last fall. It floats a 3 amp
charge and also desulfates. {google it, interesting process}. Used it on my
windstar which had an open ground, almost immediately improved the life.
Have hooked it up to my old  mobility scooter batteries, will check them out
in a coupole weeks.

the desulfating process seems to work, they are available on Ebay, or a guy
builds a mopre expensive and through kit. which tyou can find find thru
google. Takes about a month for the proicess at 70` I believe.
