 I believe that only the LMs use the rockers for drainage.

 Correct.. EM's have large holes just at the rear of the front  wheels.

-------------------------------------Smitty says : You guys are both wrong.  When water runs in at the rear window of coupes and converts it goes to the rocker panels and back to the rocker drains.  Filling any void in a Corvair is the kiss of death to me.
