<VV> Corvair Golden Anniversary

Good evening:

In preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Corvair later this  
year, the North Cascades Corvairs (NCC) car club has created a  
dedicated page on its website for this event.
Currently there are some pictures some pictures from the 1959 Lime  
Rock testing, an excellent article in defense of the Corvair, a 1959  
timeline and some other Corvair tidbits our webmaster, Jeff Lee has  
found.
Thank yous go out to Dave Newell and the CPF for the pictures and the  
timeline; and to Robert Farago from The Truth about Cars blog for the  
defense article and the permissions to reprint.
Of particular interest is the ingenious use of the 1960's front grille  
emblem that Jeff has created for the home page button and on the  
timeline.
We will be adding more items to the site as the year progresses,  
including member recollections of their “Cave Man” exploits. At least  
the ones we can print.
