<VV> Need Help in Ft Myers

So, folks, what am I missing? I was trying to find someone who could give a new owner some help with her new Corvair and I got mostly sarcastic or degrading remarks that have nothing to do with finding help for her. What is wrong with you people?! This might in part explain why our membership is declining? It's a good thing she is not yet a member because after reading some of the comments we could pretty much be sure she wouldn't join CORSA. And Bob, thank you for the contact. I apologize if I am reading too much into this, but here's what I just read (you decide if it's helpful):
 1. Why would a person buy a Corvair unless they knew someone nearby who could service and repair it????? 
2. What, the red light caused by the non-functioning belt is not enough to tell you to shut down the engine?  If that is the case, then is that analog needle going to have a greater impact on the brain?  
3. Good point, but under some lighting conditions, the red light may not be that obvious, or, it may not be working at all!  
4. Maybe someone can get her to join Corsa before she realizes she's too mechanically challenged to be accepted.
