<VV> Metro's - No Corvair

Dennis- It's interesting to see other clubs display and show their cars(except Mustangs) and going down the hiway, especially something different or unique.  I was at the Indy community day at the speedway on the Wed. before the race and the smart cars had a gathering there. (approximately 135 of them).  that is a sight to see that many of them together.  We talked to one guy from Iowa and said he got 40 MPG.  I thought it might be a little better than that.   We got one lap around the speedway on community day.  And yes, I drove my Corvair.  Ken

I was H st. in Sacramento at lunch time and had a convoy of 30 to 40 Metro's
pass me going the other way.  License plates from all over the country.
They must be having their convention somewhere in the area.
