<VV> converting to Alternator

Just last Saturday Mike Dobie of NTCA did a demonstration on  
upgrading the original alternators to internally regulated 67 amp?  
versions from a 60's model Nova (trying to remember here) that  
retains the use of the original front housing and fan/pulley  
assembly.  The complete job can be done in about 40 minutes or less.   
We received a handout of the instructions to boot.  The demonstration  
was for our club tech session.

Yet another great reason to be a member of a local club ... but then,  
I'm preaching to the choir.
