<VV> Rear window trim pins

Does anyone have information on positioning the pins that the rear window moulding clips attach to. My Vair had the pins ground off by the po and used dutz (?) clips to retain a fiberglass louver panel. I know, everyone will say the information in in the Body Manual , page ***. Sorry, don't have it. I'm getting the last steps done in prep before sending it to the paint shop.......
