Arend,
The shocks have nothing to do with the ride height... but yes, Mike is
correct in that the rear springs are different from each other in the rear. I
believe the left side is longer.
I replaced the springs in my 64 700 a while back... got the springs from
Lon Wall. It's riding fine still.
The only other thing that *might* work is get some "spring spacers" and see
if that helps (if you can find such a thing in Europe)... but I doubt it
will do what you want.
Good luck!
Lonzo

I believe, that replacing both rear springs and perhaps the shock
absorbers would go a long way to fix the problem. If I remember correctly the left
and right springs are different along with the transverse leaf spring.
Who else has a thought to help?
MIKE KOVACS

Subject: <VV> Pushing up the rear
Hi Guys,
my rear end, well actually the rear end of my Corvair is a bit low, about
1 inch lower than the front and i hit the ground a few times with one adult
in the back. Is there anybody who has a good idea to push up the rear end?
No, i don't want to use a jack because i think that will ruin the
roadability...
