I know you're joking Ned but no, they should have to listen to any member's gripes.  Voting isn't a requirement for having a voice in our club.  Being a member is sufficient.  Especially when you don't vote for non-contested positions.  

Some of us joined Corsa because we love our Corvairs - not so much because we want to do club stuff.  

I've been to 2 conventions (Buffalo and Detroit) since I got my car, but I skipped Ventura and Jacksonville (Ventura was too far away and Jax had bad timing for me).  I'm sure I'll go to others.  They're fun.  We bring our son (he's now 12) and he has some fun but mostly because of the traveling and staying in a hotel. And the valve cover races.  He's not a big fan of walking around looking at rusty old car parts in the hot hot sun.  But I'll buy him a die cast and he's happy.  I couldn't go during school time.
