<VV> Oil on top of the air cleaner

The last two times I took the car out for a little 12 mile run, I've noticed 
a few small runs of oil laying on top of the stock air cleaner.  The 
insulation pad above it shows no sign of oil, nor is there any sign anywhere 
else in the engine.  I've never had this happening before in the past 6 
years, that I've owned it.

Any ideas where this is coming from?
