I just finished doing the inside of a 65 convertible with fatMat which is a
thick aluminum sheet with a black super sticky adhesive a little under 1/8"
thick. It comes in 18" x 25' rolls and 18" x 50' rolls.
I didn't do the doors or the space under the top well. I replaced the pad
under the top well with one from Clark's.
25 ft would not have been enough to do a LM convertible the way I did it,
but 50 ft is a little too much.
I am using up the leftover doing multi-layer on the vertical panel behind
the back seat where the factory tar paper and felt pad was. FatMat is VERY
sticky and adheres firmly to a clean surface.
It's well over 100 degrees in Las Vegas now. the stuff has not loosened and
does not smell.
