<VV> White / unleaded / ethanol

??Dave, I've forgotten where you live...but must be way back east or something...



In the 50-60 ?in SoCal, ?we only had Leaded gas... ?White gas was sold in cans in Hardware stores...




?Unleaded came pot in '72 to support the NEW ?cars... ? Lead stayed around until the early 80's at stations.




Ethanol has been in ?Calif. gas for a decade.... ?and in Oregon ?since just last year...




No problems unless ?there was water in the tank....then just a big glob of gooey ?to remove to fix it!




I'll admit my Stuart Warner Electric fuelpump in my 1965 ?Glaspar 16 ft boat finally had it's rubber inards turn to goo....after setting 6 years...




But the H Carbs I kitted in 1988 ?are just fine after the slumber..!
