<VV> oil issues (Humor?)

FWD Lancias also have a reputation for leaking oil, but I have one that is 
absolutely oil-tight.

So what has happened? The (transverse, so exposed to salt and rain 
frontally) oil pan has... gone rusty! We have had to braze up two holes in 
it!
