The OHC Corvair engine in the Astro 1 is pretty well known.  There  
was at least one prototype made, but it never came anywhere near  
production.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a photo or two of a Corvair engine with  
Rochester fuel injection.  Yenko listed an injected Stage IV engine  
which may have used this setup.  In any case, FI was never put in  
production either.
