There was an article in the Corsa Communique awhile back listing the differences, most of which occurred when production resumed after the October '59 steel strike. GM had stockpiled Corvair stampings so Corvair production continued well into November. At one time I had two Kansas City built '60s both were 700 4dr. sedans. One built before production stopped from the strike and one after. The early 700 was Taxi plain, painted scuff plates, solid grey door panels, the later 700 had the aluminum finished scuff plates and multicolored door panels. My understanding was that there were also some structual differences also.

Cavemen rule.
