<VV> new questions re: engine knock

Great suggestion from CFMann! I will video tape the engine running and post
to YouTube and then post a link here at VV.
To answer other questions from the group:
I did a compression check a while back and all the cylinders were within a
normal range. I don't remember exactly what they were, so I will do another
check and post the results later today.
I will get in there and check the flex plate bolts to make sure they are
torqued to specs.
I don't believe the pitch changes (although I am often accused of being tone
deaf), but the volume definitely increases as the RPM increase.
As previously suggested by another poster, there is no relation to the wheel
speed. Car is stationary.
The oil pressure (34 PSI) is with a direct pressure gauge (mechanical). I
have fresh non-detergent 10-40W oil in the engine right now. I had been
running 10-30W after the rebuild.
