Nope! that's about it... time to shift or back off... plain and simple...
Setting Lifters to 1/4 turn past "0" lash get's you a lot closer to 6000..
Then you may need a piece of foam against your points to keep them
stable....

Will show you that a stock 25" tire with a 3.55 diff.. will get you to 105
mph at 5000 rpm [ normal reports]
Just getting the engine to PULL to 6000 gets you 126 mph.... PULL is the
KEYWORD!
