<VV> Communique improvement, idea number 11

Now that we can renew our memberships online, with a secure 'https' payment
page, we are past the main obstacle.
But at this initial level, CORSA's online earning capabilities are barely
utilized.

Not just for renewal, but let's now use our shopping carts to buy all sorts
of Corsa gear, perhaps magazines and Corvair-related
collectibles that members submit for the online sale. Complete cars and
parts could be auctioned off, with 'sealed' bids being submitted through the
site only.
Corsa could take a fixed percentage of all final selling prices, much like
Barrett Jackson or Ebay does.

Only Corsa members would be able to use the service, which could encourage
sign-ups. You would access the auction page through the same membership
portal as your online renewal. If a seller and buyer might conspire to cheat
Corsa of the proper percentage donation, they would risk losing their
membership priviliges.
After all, the convenience of this entire process would be meant to benefit
Corsa financially.
