Carl,

Sometimes the actual connectors in the firewall connector are partially
corroded away. If that is what you find, you can get new connectors and
re-crimp them on. For that matter, you can replace the plastic connector
bodies too.

Look for the 56-series connectors. That's what Corvairs use throughout the
wiring harness. You will have to call him on the phone to order. I've gotten
lots of stuff from him. He is an honorable businessman. Don't forget to ask
for his catalog. It's got lots of cool stuff not on the website.
