<VV> Race schools

I for one, look forward anxiously for the Racing School reports.
   It seems that you had  a great group of friends helping you. Thanks 
to all of you from a distance. You are all Corvair heros.
 I wish that I could have been there.
    It reminds me of the 1968 when I needed to go to two school weekends 
to get the schools in. I dropped the clutch in my GT 40 replica in the 
first school and finished the second one in a borrowed Formula Vee.
   Later I was an instructor at the SCCA driving schools.
   When I was 60 I went back to school again in order to race Rob Fike's 
  Corvair in a long race--needed a co- driver. Long story to be told 
later.
    I never used the license anymore after that race, because I wasn't 
interested in running with the crazy bump , run, and crash Miata 
groups.
    On a far less exciting note than David, Dan, or Rick, I   just 
received notice of my provisional license (meaning they be watching me 
in the first session--just like school again) for HSR events.
    If I can find the money, maybe I can actually join you at the Mitty 
with the Thomas/ Roe car.
