Having raised a Son who turns wrenches happily..and who grew up
learning to drive in a Corvair car, a Vair powered Dune Buggy and a
Vair powered boat....and who jumped on any NEW Vair we aqquired, fixing
many things while I was at work...
A Son who loves my v8 Crown car and was very impressed with my Turbo
Coupe when he drove it....
A Son who has owned almost everything BUT a Corvair at 35 yrs....
I say we drop the YOUNGER , and just go out and search for "lonely Vair
OWNERS" and get them to join....at least the NATIONAL Association
CORSA...
Many today are just too busy to be active in a local Chapter...
That's the way I see it!

When my son turned 16 I bought him a really nice 65 '500' coupe and
fixed it up
to attract his interest. He drove it, but I could never get him
interested in
fixing it when it needed something done. Eventually I sold it when he
went
off to college.
