<VV> ORANGE ID MARK ON CONVERTER

anyone know what an orange splash on a torque converter indicates? if  
anything?
this is a low mileage rusty one i cleaned up from a @20,000 mile 65 RK  
motor (factory air)
i was wondering if it indicates a different stall speed , such as  140's?
maybe i should chase down the governor and valve body? (its a long shot not 
 close to me)
