This survey is to compile a list of oils used in Corvairs. The results will
be compiled and published here and submitted to the Communiqué. Please reply

The entire name of the product as it shows on the label

 Currently - Mobil 1 - 10/40 for Diesel

the color of the bottle

 Silver (grey?) - I think ALL mobil 1 products have the same color bottle, 
but the labels are different - need to read them.


does it in quarts

 yes


Does it come in gallons

no  - but I've seen some mobil one products in 5 quart containers


Approximate cost per quart

????  $5.00  ???? maybe a little more?   7 maybe?

Approximate price per gallon

 20% or so less than by the quart????


Any additives you use, why

no - trying to use a sythetic where I don't need them


Oil filter, why

 NAPA 1038 - like AC PF4

 Why did you choose that oil?

 already answered

 How often do you change your oil, why?

 around 3500 - before 5000 for sure

 fresh filter every time.
