Yep, the '65 bezel has a drain notch to keep wet crap/debris from 
accumulating behind it and rotting stuff.   At least this is what I 
read in an old Communique decades ago.

Still seems to me there's a similar difference (oxymoron?) in the 
buckets themselves.   Anybody...??
