Bruce & all other ragtop people,
I have no advice for your shrunken boot. However, I would like to pass along
something I do with my boot.
When I put the top up, I unsnap and pull the boot forward, leaving the boot
attached to the seat back. Once the top is up, I fold the ends under and
stretch the boot back over the well to the rear by the plastic window. I put
snaps on the rear body just under the window and snap the boot to them. It
sort'a makes a rear shelf. It also solves the issue of storing the boot when
the top is up and makes sure it is readily available when I put the top
down.

Subject: <VV> boot advice
I hate to stray from the now popular discussion about Corsa Pros & Cons, but
I need some "technical" advice.
I have a 1963 Monza convertible, with excellent Kameleon Paint and a new
white top. It is a (fair weather , here in the frozen North) daily driver. I
have the original Lt blue, parade boot, which matches the original
upholstery. It has apparently shrunk over the years. It is now about 1 to 2
inches short of being able to be snapped in place. Has anyone else had this
problem, and can it be "stretched" enough to fit. Open to all suggestions. I
already know that I can buy a new one so pass on that. I would rather use
this orig. for now, unless there is no other way. Thanx to any help.
...,Bruce
