Yeah -- without being certain of substantial coverage, it is not
worth the risk. And officers and board members and workers have
special liability separate from the incident (generally negligence
claims based on something being "wrong" with the event).
I also agree that allowing chapters to have members that don't belong
to national is a self-inflicted wound. I mean, if you have a
Corvair, why wouldn't you belong?
