Jamie.sounds like you should run for the BoD in your area.  

 

Your questions are excellent.and were hashed out over months with all the
Directors.  At the end of the day, no organization can 'save' it's way to
prosperity.  We have to either grow again (not likely) or look for new
platforms to utilize for the membership.  

 

Thanks for your input.and RUN for the Central Director position.

"CORSA is in serious financial times mostly because of the dropping
membership".

Didn't the board raise the membership dues last year or this year to its
current price.  Obviously, the board would take fiscal responsibility into
the projections.  At the current price and level, how long are the dues
supposed to sustain CORSA at this pace?

When you guys and gals were looking for other contractors to provide CORSA
services, did you have any luck?  Were you unable to find anyone cheaper or
better (as a current poster commented about the quality of the newsletter)
than the current service provider?  Someone just posted about being an
Editor of another publication ........?  When does their contract expire,
early next year, this year?

You mention membership is causing the financial burden, how much of a burden
is the cost of the current service provider? Isn't that why the dues
increase, basically, its probably the bulk of expenses or maybe not? I saw a
post a year or two ago that was extremely high (my opinion only 100k, for
their services - really?)

How many central directors slots are coming open?
