Technically speaking, "Corvair-itis" means "inflammation of the Corvair", which doesn't make much sense.
A better term would be either "Corvaircephalus" (Abnormal Corvair-on-the-Brain) or "HyperCorvairemia" (High Corvair-in-the-blood)

Oblique...how about way beyond obscure? You must have a serious case of Corvair-itis!
