I remember seeing that ad. Thought the guy was just blowing smoke. So I
passed on it. It was only years later that I read about Pinky and that
tranny, though at that time I never put the two together. Had I known about
Pinky, maybe I'd have the tranny in my garage now......

It's a shame when info is kept a secret.... So if anyone out there knows
something I don't, blab it to me. (G)

Mag into the kitchen and told my wife that there was a one of a kind
transmission for sale and I knew where it came from.  I told her about
Pinky.  It was advertised as a 3 spd Powerglide.  She said, do you want it?
I said, where the hell would I ever get repair parts for it?  That was the
end of the conversation and my interest in the transmission.
