Yep all those made in China GE planet saving fluorescent light bulbs
which over time fade everything around them...............oh I forgot
how long they last..............doing my duty I bought a pack of 4 GE
60watt equivalents and have used them in locations which are either
hard to change (5000 hours longevity you know) or where fading of
paper or fabric would be the least effected...............
the first bulb failed after less than 200 hours of service soooo I am
waiting to see how long the other 3 (15000 hours) bulbs last....
in the meantime I am buying 60/75/100 watt old fashioned bulbs that
usually last longer than the mfg claims. and are much less expensive
than 200 hour fluorescents !!! :-(
