Now that this crazy thread has finally died down, I just wanted to close it
with two remarks:

1) It was an AD, people - an AD.  It was selling stuff for a national chain.
Did anybody out there honestly think they did not stage the photo and get
all necessary permissions to use the car, etc.?  Besides, it was FREE
PUBLICITY for Corvairs and when isn't that a good thing?e
