The "Primer" teaches division?  Really!  What will they think of next?

(# teeth on Ring gear) divided by (# teeeth on Pinion gear) equals (Gear 
Ratio)

the trick is in marking greasy gears so you know when you've got them 
all counted -- the back side of the ring gear is probably marked with 
the correct counts, but you can't read it when it is bolted to the carrier.
