Hi,

I've pretty well come to the conclusion that its more trouble than it's
worth to do myself.

I was trying to save a few bucks but I guess the smart thing is to take the
head into the local engine/head rebuilder on Monday.

I would remove the valve springs so the valve stem seals could be 
removed. I'm sure 450 is not good for those rubber/Teflon parts for a 
long time.
